Bigfoot sighting in Connecticut
«
on:
September 21, 2011, 07:26:00 PM »
I heard some noise outside the front door. I went out to see what it was and I found a “Yeti” in a box of all places. So I got brave and brought in the house and here are some pictures.
So far so good, I didn’t get bit yet. Oh no it moved.

Looks like one of those long, lean, curvy Yeti.

Very, very nice Gary. Kirk is an outstanding craftsman. That is a really nice bow.
Anything Kirk builds shoots great, hits hard, and his bows have the flatest trajectory of any bow I've ever shot.
Hopefully I'll have pics of a new Big Foot to show in a couple days.

The bow is 54" long,it
[email protected]
was looking to get a R&D longbow. I was looking to get a used one but could not find one that I liked enough so I started looking at stock bows and seeing what was available and found this Yeti on Kirk Lavender's "Bigfoot Bows". Wasn't looking for this short of a bow but after talking to Kirk about his Yeti he said he can draw it out to 29" without a problem and I have a 28" draw. I figured that this bow would be great hunting out of a treestand.Kirk made me an offer I couldn't refuse. So here it is and what a great shooter. It doesn't feel like 50lbs but it can send an arrow to the target fast.It is very smooth,I love how the limbs feel.I am very impressed with this bow. Anyone looking for a new bow should give Kirk Lavender at call at "Bigfoot Bows". I think you too will be impressed. Happy Shooting, Gary
