hoyt buffalo spine problems

Help me out guys. I just received a hoyt buffalo 45# RH 60".  Everything i shoot out of it is showing tail left underspined. I have fed carbon 150's and 250's. Aluminum 2016,2018,and 2020 with the 2020 being the closest coming to showing correct spine but at 29" @ 145 grain head. I draw 28". Anyone else had this problem?

I'm no expert, but i believe with a centershot bow like that, you need a heavier spined arrow. Also, try dropping point weight. Heavier point weight along with a longer arrow soften spine

I can only tell you what shoots well out of my 45# Buffalo but I'm only drawing 27". Two arrows fly perfectly, one a GT1535, 28.5", 50 gr inserts and 125 gr points. The other one is a 1916, 29" long and 125 grain point.

I'm shooting a Buffalo but 62" and 54# mine loves Heritage 150's cut to 30.5" and 125 grain heads this goes against the chart but it works. I also have 40# limbs set at 44# and have good luck with The same arrows but cut at 33" and 175g up front.

They are all too stiff and you are getting an opposite reaction. Try a .500 cut to 29"s with at least 225 up front, or a .600 spine cut to 29"s with 150-175 up front. Shawn

Yes. But before you go crazy trying arrows do yourself a favor and check the tiller on your buffalo. As mine came from the factory it was WAY off...  The best place to start is to back off the locking bolts and crank both the limb bolts all the way to the bottom for an even tiller.  Then tighten your locking bolts.  Be sure to check you brace height after you adjust the tiller...should be around 8 1/8".  

But from what I read it looks like you need to step down in spine to 350's or thereabouts.  
Consider going to a Tapered Shaft Carbon arrow like the Arrow Dynamics Lights...they tune in a much broader range of draw weights than parallel carbon shafts.

Sometimes a low nocking point will cause tail left as well.RC

True RC, check your nock pt. I am shooting mine about 9/16 nock high and my arrows are a little weaker off the Buffalo then the same setup shot on my BW at the same draw weight.  The Buff is just a little bit faster and had to shoot a little less tip weight to get the shafts shooting perfect again.
