I made my own but if you get an answer I'd like to know the outcome and see photos.
Thanks.

There are backquivers on the market very similiar to the style Ben Pearson used.
It has a large ring attached to the shoulder strap and attached to the rear end of the quiver another strap which snaps to the ring in the center of your chest. This keeps your quiver in the same position on your back without sliding down.

Don't feel too badly Rob.
I haven't mastered them either and I have six of them.
I've adjusted straps six ways from Sunday and still can't seem to get one to work right.
God bless,Mudd
PS: That does not mean I'm giving up. I am positive if I keep at it I'll make one work.

What about , as mentioned the three point attachment back quivers ? I have a couple and thekep the arrows sitting up much higher above the shoulder . They work great ..... plus the ones I have let you carry LOTS of arrows .

Another way to go would be the Safari Tuff arrow master. I have one and really like it.

I have one of Art's back quivers and find it stays up rather well. The little bump up with the bow hand seems to be a part of it though. I don't see me hunting with it, although many do. I have one of his side quivers, like the GFA which I prefer for hunting. I like filling the back quiver for stumping and the trad feeling of longbow and back quiver.

Infinite possibilities often discourage novice bq users. It's combinations of position, suptleness, & enough adjustments to get it right that make bq's work for you. Had a bunch of wrecks before I figured it out w/sound advice from Mr. Ron LaClair. Notice the strap locations on mine (pic). For me, this allows the bq to ride higher. BTW, I started w/2 straps like many newbes. One is way easier to hunt with.
