We had agreat morning. The wind was bad for where we was going to hunt.So me and my hunting partner hunted about fourty yards apart.I saw three does about 7:30.At about 8:30 i turned to see what my buddy was doing. He was standing up holding his bow.I looked the other way behind me and a doe and two yearlings were standing between us.He shot the doe.The yearlings ran to me and i shot one of them.I dont think you could ask for a better opening day.

same here, kinda frustrating when you go on 50yard stalk through creeks and bryers only to be still wet to the bone and out of range. but cool to get that close anyways

well I thought I would have a success story for you guys,  just at dark I had a small doe at about twenty one yards, I released and she took off like she was hit hard, tail between her legs, low to the ground etc. I thought sure I had put one in the pump house but after making a decision to let her go overnight to expire I went back this morning and found my arrow completely spotless.  Swing and a miss!  I am headed back out tonight, good luck to all!!
