I was surprised when Rob texted me that the pic was already on tradgang. Thanks for posting it and thanks for the comments. Not too much to tell, really.  Headed out to a local ranch with some guys this afternoon.  Got to my spot just before 5 and this sow came in a few minutes later.  I hit her where the orange colored leaf is and I saw blood pour out on impact.  Had her dragged back to the road by 5:20, but waited til dark to leave so as not to ruin it for the others. I got to bloody my new Big Jim thunderchild that is 53#@28". The Simmons tigersharks left a bloodtrail a blindman could see. I really think the new Simmons heads are underrated. They leave gaping holes, fly well, penetrate well, and most importantly to me, I can take a head out of the package and have it ready to hunt in less than a minute with my RADA wheel.  The head that I shot this hog with still shaved hair after the dissection.

Sorry Buddy, I will have to break the safari in on something else.

Dave, I was lazy and dropped this one off at the butcher. No transfusion needed this time.

Way to go, Pat! I like seeing pigs on the ground, lying on their sides with holes in them. I guess you must be liking that Thunderchild. Wish I could shoot it, but I just can't switch to left-handed. Someday I also need to try the Simmons broadheads. I keep hearing good things about them, especially the holes they produce. Talk with you soon.
