Friends: shooting out of the bucket
« on: September 27, 2011, 09:30:00 PM »
Meet Drew:

Drew is very new to traditional archery. This is just his second time shooting his recurve. His bow belonged to his grandfather who bought it when he was 21 years old.

Flint was in town and we all had a great time shooting.

The tradition continued of shooting from the bucket.

God bless,Mudd

PS: Drew is off to the Marine Corps in a couple of weeks.

Cody, neither Flint or I could identify with any certainty the make his recurve.

It is in almost pristine condition for a very old bow.

God bless,Mudd

PS: The autumn orange glass on it sure makes it an awesome looking old long curve.

Thanks for the invite Mudd. It makes my trips for work enjoyable when you can fling bucket arrows and lots of Sweet bows as well. Great job mentoring Drew as well. We will get you pulling those arrows out by the nock of a backquiver yet. Flint

"Might wanna fix that downspout" What's wrong with it?

It lacks motivation.

Killie Deer you are so very correct!

I am lacking the motivation to fix that down spout.

I might be saving my motivation for something more fun.

Guess I missed seeing the bucket... but where did you get that innovative new arrow holding device??????    :saywhat:

Hawkeye they are rare...lol

This one makes the shooter have to think while shooting because there's such a mix of arrows, lengths, weight, and spine.

If you can shoot accurately out of the bucket, then shooting a matched set becomes a breeze..lol
