Just wondering; What guide service/outfitter did you use? I am planning to hunt moose next fall. This one sounds great...

Wow - That sounds like a great adventure.  Hunting with David sure is fun and you were in a great location.  I was lucky enough to be in the first group of hunters to help break in that site with David, Dean and Fred last year.  We did get into some moose and I also tried to hide behind my recurve but came away without a shot.  I spent thirty minutes within range of a beautiful bull, as close as 14 yards.  But a B&C bull at six steps?!  Sounds like you were a bit lucky yourself.  Glad to hear you had such a good hunt.  Thanks for the pics and memories.  Maybe we can meet up there one day for another go at it....

Cool hunt, thanks for sharing! Moose is definitely on my bucket list only question is when and where.
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Great adventure.  Getting me fired up for a week plus from now.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I've had 3 moose experiences, all gun related however, but if I could hunt only one thing that would be it. Sooo big, comes to the call, the meat is great and lots of it. Thanks for sharing.

WOW! That would be some adventure for sure. I'd put a moose hunt on the top of my dream hunts. But way out of my price range unfortunately. Great pictures Jim.

Thanks for the story. I leave a week from tommorrow on my second moose hunt. The outfitter said the bulls are taering up the place which is a little early.
