i have been a blaze orange guy for a while.  last week i need some feathers and my shop only had brown and pink.... i went with the pink.

it might be that its a new color that i'm not used to see but i think it really stands out.

We are only shooting 20 yards right?

I've managed to kill a couple of critters using all white or all yellow. I can see those colors well.

I use Fluorescent Yellow feathers with a yellow cap wrap. Easy to see in poor light.

MikeW... I'm sometimes concerned about how much white I'm flashing, but usually it's mostly hidden. When I was shooting a compound I eventually dumped the white dip for that reason. My arrows do sometimes "wear" a Kathy Kelly fletch bag, but it's noisy if you have to nock a second arrow. It's a trade off. Seeing definitatively where that arrow impacts is important to me.

Here is what I like for hunting:

Florescent green fletching, white nocks, red and white reflective tape crest. I tend to see these both in flight and should I lose one, I can go back after dark and find it with a flashlight. Second choice of feather color would be yellow. I see it better than I do white.

I shoot 3 flo-yellow, but studies show the human eye picks up baby blue or powder blue better than any color. I may do 2 baby blue and one flo-yellow next batch I make! Shawn

I use red with an orange cock feather for my recurve and neon yellow with a white cock feather for my other bow.  I use white arrow tape on both.  I got a roll off **** for about 8 dollars shipped, its a giant roll and I've done about 30 arrows so far and haven't put a dent in it.

I prefer Hot Pink, Chart, White and Flo Orange. Here are some samples of customer arrows and mine.

I like pink or chartreuse. I find the chartreuse almost glows in low light.

Natural barred feathers with flourescent green nocks.the nocks really shine to me and seem to gather light in dim light. But I am color blind somewhat too.

I can see the flo yellow feathers much better than any other color. I am going to try some pink ones as well.

I use two flo yellow / chartreuse hens and a natural barred cock feather. Very visible in flight.

I use 5" florescent shield cut feathers.  The cock feather is flor. green, and the other two are flor. green barred feathers.  I use a flor. green nock.  They are easy for me to see.

I think it really depends on what you like best. if a deer is looking at you close enough to pick out your fletching, you are already in trouble...   :nono:
