I have always been a recurve shooter and loved them above all other bows
I live near Mike Fedora and have a lot of his bows. About 15 years ago Mike gat ahold of me and said he wanted me to take a look at a bow
The riser was ebony with some myrtle inlays and the limbs
Where bamboo
I brought it home and never shot it . I put it on the rack and it just sat there.
I changed my shooting style since back then and my draw has gotten longer so at my draw this bow is pulling about 67 to 69 pounds
The other day I was dusting off my bow rack and I pulled it out and set it up
Wow is all I can say this thing is a monster . With a 530 grain arrow it is averaging 209 fps and hits like a ton of bricks
This year was a big one for bows for me I got a Hoyt Buffalo and 2 Silvertips
I have narrowed it down to what bow I will use this year and I decided on my old tiger maple 560 that pulls about 57 at my draw but I am just thrilled that I finally got around to setting this ebony and bamboo bow up and if I ever need a heavy bow for a hunt I know I got a good one
