Went scouting Saturday and wondered
« on: July 09, 2007, 03:13:00 PM »
Found the Elk motherload Saturday.68 of "em" did not have a clue I was there. I won't have a clue where they are come hunting season. They were laying on their sides like my dog on the concrete garage floor in the summer.5(4x4) - 1(5x5)and 2 Bulls that would not come out of the shadows but you could see their branched antlers swaying as they messed with the bugs. Will the antlers keep growing until about September or just get better definition?

Pretty sure they keep growing until the velvet gets rubbed off.

Not 100% sure though.

Do you have coordinates to that location?  LOL  :bigsmyl:

They have a tad more of growing to do, roughly August they will stop and start to harden. Shawn
