Kermit Strikes!

Well I got to break in my GN Critter Gitter "Kermit" tonight. I had this doe come in late this evening. I shot her around 15 yards hitting her through the shoulder and lodging the broadhead in the opposite shoulder. Not the best shot I've ever done but it did the trick. She went down about 80 yards from where I shot her. 53#@28inch gn critter gitter, gold tip 35/55 trads, and 150 grain woodsman elite heads. Pretty impressed with that broadhead.

80 yds, pretty thick cover, broadhead must have given you a good blood trail. Congrats!

The only downside of that shot is you are guaranteed to break an arrow. Given the option I will take a complete pass through the lungs every time because it preserves my arrows for another hunt but if you stick in the oposite shouder you will have your deer in the freezer every time. Great job on the deer. She looks like a good one. Did you weigh her? Post a pick and weight on the "Big Doe" contest thread in the Z-give-a-way forum, please.

I didn't have access to a scale so I guess I'll never know the weight. I'm not that concerned about it. Here's another photo.

Excellent job! Congrats.
Hoping to get all the "extras" out of the way this week so I can get to hunting seriously.
God Bless
