Checkmate Hunter II ?
« on: July 09, 2007, 07:55:00 PM »
I have a Hunter II that was 58" and 54@28, I'm in the process of swaping for heavier limbs that were 60" and 62@28 on his bow. He received my limbs and tried them on his riser and still had a 60" bow, is the length difference in the risers of these bows? the limbs? or both?

Thanks.

Yep--usually, although there has been some custom ordered exceptions.  The 58" get a (approximately) 17" riser, the 60" and 62" get a (approximately) 19" riser.

Chad,

Thanks for the info, will they also gain a little more weight on the shorter riser?

Yep--I couldn't tell you off-hand how much, but it won't be a lot.
