Hawked
« on: October 07, 2011, 01:43:00 PM »
Yesterday evening I hunted.. This stinky wannabe came slipping by and showed me his side as he was quartering away. He was pretty close, maybe 15 yards. The arrow hit him in the short ribs and exited in the "pocket" on the off side. I heard him crash into some brush about 50 yards away but then he regained his footing and ran. After a bit of a look I found him. There was almost no blood trail which surprised me after seeing the exit wound.

The bow is the Sparrowhawk that's 45 @ 28, I draw to about 30". This time I was using a 2016 and an Eclipse broadhead. I never found the arrow.

Hope that's sized right Rob.. If not I'll try again..
