Hey guys I'm going next week to talk with the bowyer about getting my first custom hybrid long bow started. I thought I new what kinda wood I wanted and now I'm not sure. Please post your bows. My first choice was somekind of grey laminate, charcoal diamond, with a thin walnut or brown wood down the center. Then I saw the camo laminate on a encore stock and wondered what that would look like as a riser. Lets see yours!

There are a number of dymond wood colors to choose from. I found this color spec pic online.

I like the darker, reddish woods myself, cocobolo, or rosewood with a lighter limb veneer like curly maple or zebra wood with a darker or phenolic accent thru the riser.

That color chart is the cat's meow. With so many great choices, it's going to be tough decision.
