Stylin in the Mudd
« on: October 12, 2011, 08:33:00 PM »
A promise made:

Ole Mudd promised me one of the Mudd Hats, shades of Sherwood Forest.

It came a few weeks back, but I couldn't get a pic taken cause it was either a) raining back here in biblical proportions or b) nobody was around when it was daylight!

Sunday, good ole Chopx2 came up from MD and we shot till we were tired, ate some grub and shot some more. I'd laid out the hat so I wouldn't forget.

Grabbed it and my Ghillie jacket and struck a pose in the back yard, asking Tony to 'shoot me'.

I had to make sure we were communicating clearly cause he's pretty good with them ole sticks he slings, but we were on the same page!  :knothead:    "[dntthnk]"

So if they ever do an Errol Flynn remake, do ya all think I might get a call?

Of course, if you have some vermin problems, or you have adorable daughters and wanna keep the boys away, just post this version on the front door!  That oughta do it!

As to borrow the words of the infamous Mudd.. "How cool is this, way I am saying"... maybe one day Doc I can be in the club....pretty neat !! Oh, you might just fill the bill for the remake, just would have to trim the stache a bit, and dab a bit of "just for men" on it...to blend that gray away!!   :saywhat:

I wear my Mudd's Merry Men's hat wherever I go. Just ask my Wife and Son. They love it.  :smileystooges:

You'll need some different tights and develop a taste for mutton, but yeah, you could play the lead.

Not only do you resemble Erol Flynn's Robin Hood, you came to the right place to find people who know who he was.
The other day I told a receptionist in an empty store that she must be feeling like the Maytag repair man. She didn't have clue what I was talking about.  There's an lol for ya.

Norm,

When I was typing the post, I was actually shocked that I could even remember Errol Flynn's name... amazing sometimes what crawls outa the back of my memory.

I think my mental computer is stuck working with 512K RAM sometimes.

Where I work, I make comments that are only from a few years ago and these young people look at me like I'm from outer space... they've never heard of half of the saying I grew up with, nor do they remember much by way of 5-7 yr old commercials or songs!

Feel like a dinnosauer sometimes. And then again, I'm getting to resemble that comment!      :saywhat:

Dock in tights    that would be dangerous! Have to say there is a resemblance.    :archer2:
