Well I Finally Did It!
«

After hunting with a compound bow since 1977, I finally closed the book on modern archery... period! I just sold my compound bow today and everything that went with it, and now I'm sticking to the 3 longbows that I have. It feels like a weight has been lifted and I don't regret it one bit.
My thanks goes out to all Trad Gang members for sparking the fire for me again with tradional archery!

Congrats! Thers no feeling like the feeling of doing it yourself!
I myself slipped a couple of months ago and bought a compound. That only lasted a month and I was back. Well, blowing up the compound hastened the return
but I was already on my way back anyways. Too heavy, too complicated, and as my wife so eloquently put it while we were sitting in the emergency room after the blow up. Trad bows are idiot proof! :p
