Earth Tone Microtex
« on: October 17, 2011, 11:07:00 AM »
I have been emailing Cabelas occasionally for a couple years requesting that they produce some of the Microtex garments (specifically the pants) in earth tone colors.  I have a job that allows me to be outside in the woods and think they would make great work pants but also would be great for hunting, especially for those trying to move away from camo.

I know a lot of people on TG like the Microtex also so I thought I would try to get some support for my campaign.

If you would like to see Microtex in earth tone colors, contact Cabelas and maybe we can get them to give it a try.

Microtex is my fav hunting clothing. Will it be less money in non-camo?

Would you be concerned about wearing earth tone colors in the deer woods?

There are some, ummm, overly anxious hunters out there. You know the old saying "If it's brown, it's down"?

I have been waiting for they to bring back the insulated Microtex jacket, without the hood, it was called a bowhunter jacket (insulated and uninsulated) in solid colors and desert, open country camo.

I wish they made it in Loden green.  Several years ago I sent them an email requesting it, but never got a response back.

Who knows maybe if a bunch of folks pestered them often enough they would do it
I find the older I get, the less I used to know!

I also like the Microtex fabric from Cabela's. I would like to see relaxed fit jeans in outfitter camo and earth tones. I like jean type pants better than anything else for hunting except in real cold weather. How about insulated jeans in microtex?

I have asked Cabela's to make the micotex in Outfitter Brown for years, but to no avail.

Microtex is my favorite.  Great idea to have it in a work pant.  What number/who have you called.
