I may change bows from 3D to 3D, but all of them are set ups for hunting.

I tend to shoot different bows but the arrows are the same. One thing I do not waver on is that all my bows shoot pretty much the same. If I get a bow and it shoots different then my current stable...down the road it goes   :wavey:   . The draw weigh on all my bows are pretty close also.

I use the same bow for both, 3D is the only time I get to practice in hunting type shots.

I normally shoot what ever bow I am hunting with in 3d.  That said I have 8 that I hunt with.

Possibly not the best example here.

Shoot different bows during the 3D season. All bows are set-up where I maintain the same site window. I thoroughly enjoy the experiences of different bow types. My focus though is too attempt to always shoot with solid optimum shot execution. The differences from a competency aspect is that the end results are not too far apart. The main difference in shooting competancy is that some bows personally require a little more strict adherance to form. These bows tend to make my form even stronger. I may tend to get a little lax and end up costing me when I continually shoot a bow that seems to shoot itself. Still, the mental aspect, is by far the ruler in this game.

A few weeks before season, I will settle down to one set-up or possibly two. Shooting 6 to 7 days week year around has afforded me the luxary of intimately knowing my bows. My 1st shot must be on the mark when switching.

Since this is such an accentuated mental control effort, I am far from immune from making a faux paux at the moment of truth. Opening mouth and inserting foot is still a repeated error. When it happens again, I am too driven by the different wonderful experiences to adjust.

What confidence dictates is my choice.

You bet, same bow for hunting and 3-D.

Not sure why you'd even shoot 3-D otherwise.    :dunno:
