Ok I've used it for years But I really wonder if it does anything   :dunno:  and how long does a dryer recharge work if at all. I hunt the wind just as I did before scent $$$ clothing .
As we get older our bow weight goes down and our body weight goes up, One of Lifes little jokes.

I've bought a couple pieces of Scent Loc because I liked the pattern or the material.  I never really thought the scent blocking characteristics were better than my hygiene.

However, when I heard of the lawsuit Scent Loc lost I now avoid the product like the plague.

Good article in Field and Stream a few months back.... Used a police dog and ran three experiments. 1) No scent control or shower. Result....dog found hidden guy in 25 seconds. 2) Shower and some scent control. Result....dog found hidden guy in 27 seconds. 3) Full blown scent control including scent-loc. Result....dog found hidden guy in 24 seconds.

I just read the Eberhart's new book on bowhunting deer aand they are full bore scentlok. Not sure if they get endorsement $$ but I was a little surprised when they talked about appropriate camouflage for treestands/winter and only mentioned the Scentlok pattern-- what, no Predator or ASAT? PS I have had deer at 3 feet when there was no scentlok. I have tried it, found negligible difference-- actually, I think you don't hunt as carefully when you wear it. My 2 cents.

They moved their production operation down to Mexico a few years ago from Michigan. Make your own call on this one.

Saddle up for this debate! Eat two bowls of chili, put on the scent lock and wait, sit next to the wife and if she makes a face after you rip one then it don't work.JMHO

I had this Buck at 3 feet with me on the ground the day before I killed him....no carbon suit.

I also remember the couple at Solana years ago that were all decked out in scent lock from head to toe...literally.

The took all their cloths off immediately after returning to camp and hanging them outside.

Bout the 3rd day I witnessed the arrogant man chewing out the guide cause the wind was wrong in the stand he was in, and all the deer came in down wind and winded him.  I was in the truck and the man pointed to the top of the ridge where they spooked....and it was at least 100 yards away.  His scent lock didn't work obviously.

I love my fleece Scent-loc jacket I got for $20 used. When it arrived, it smelled like an old dog, who smoked, lived on it.  I am sure it was not working at that point. It smells like fresh air to me now after a wash and dry.  Love the pattern, stops wind well, very quiet, great zipper pockets, warm, and close fit sleeves for string clearance.  I hope a lot of people sell it of not believing it works because I like a lot of it in how it is made and functions in general.  I also have a top and pants set I got close out a couple years back.
