Alright Knobby, what a great year you have going after that nice mulie earlier. Beautiful buck! Heading up in a few hours the sin is really exploding in central Wis.

Joe, I just sent Gary a set of leather gloves and a stout rope, he's coming up to my place in two weeks to help me drag mine out.

The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Great job Knobby on your trophy buck. I know a lot of hard work and dedication was put into it.

Thanks to everyone for the congratulations. It is a strange feeling having the buck tag filled already, but I guess I can deal with it. I still have doe tags to keep me out there, and as Schlaggerman warned me, I better have a camera ready. You just know what's going to walk out in front of me...kind of like having a cow elk tag in the pocket and a 5x5 bull at nine feet!
Double O, you're right in that a lot went into being in the right place. Many hours in the field during the off-season, and thousands of practice arrows shot. Like many on here,I wouldn't want it any other way.
