My new Thunderchild....
« on: October 19, 2011, 05:11:00 PM »
...has finally arrived!

This is my first custom bow and its a beauty.

63# @30"; 58"
Bocote Limb Veneers, Zircote Riser, Buffalohorn tip and riser-back overlays, Beaver Tail Grip.

The details, from the nocks to the finish as well as the service (String with silencers and nockpoint, bowsleeve, stringwax and tipsaver included)are top notch! BigJim was always helpfull and endured my questions and mindchanges.

Due to a hand injury i wasnt able to shoot it yet, but at the weekend ill try it and im really looking forward to it.   :jumper:

Big Jim must have a stash of the best Bocote around. That bows a real beauty. Congrats!

Absolutely gorgeous, love bocote veneers and the zircote looks real good in a riser. Enjoy.
