bow for a ten year old girl
« on: October 19, 2011, 07:20:00 PM »
What would be a good bow for a ten year old girl that is about three inches shorter than her class mates?  Something that she would not out grow for a few years, would be good for a few years and still not be too long or heavy for her to learn with, although she may have a growing spurt. Hopefully something that I can pay for mostly by selling off a right hand recurve or two.  She is a welcome addition to my growing but happy extended family.

Lawrence............

I have two very nice(new) R/D longbows that would fit that young lady just fine. I would be happy to give one to her with some arrows FTYD.

I will accept, but I would really like to do something in return. As I have explained in a PM we have taken a financial hit lately and I am not a 100% yet. I was not expecting such generosity.  I will say this if you met little Autumn you would fall in love with her, just like we did.

Check out Chuck Jones and Black Rhino  http://www.bows.net/blackrhino.htm

Black Rhino bows are some of the best for kids.

Indestructible and good shooting bows.

I was going to suggest Mike at Maddog, however on seeing James' generous offer it would seem redundant. Way to go James, I just love this place.

Chanda..............

I hope your daughter, Autumn enjoys this little bow as much as I did building it. I shipped USPS at 1:20 PM today, estimated delivery 10/25. Here is a pic of the bow she will recieve:

Here is pic of what it will look like when it is all grown up:

I know everyone on the Gang wants to see Autumn shooting this bow.

that is impressive, I know someone that could use the adult version. Do you make them for sale?  Those look super.
