Based on what happened to another vendor, I'd advise Abowyer to collect 100% up front before accepting the orders. No sense sitting on excess inventory which was never accepted.

Great man and great broadheads!

I'd take a half dozen right or left bevel.
Thanks,

I've talked with them enough so they know my intentions, but I would like more folks to see this and get on the list.

If they can do like Pat B said above...I'll take 12 NON-Tanto.

And Yes....money should be collected FIRST!!!

It's about a 5 or 10 minute deal with a file to put a point on any of the "tantoed" heads.. I use a lot of Abowyer Wapitis and Javelinas.. I take the Tanto off and put a point on all of them..BTW, I think Abowyer uses the best steel and tempers it for a lasting edge better than anyone in the business.

I guess the tanto tip is a matter of preference. I like them the way they are. But then again I'm easy to get along with LOL

Somebody needs to talk to Larry and see what he needs for an order to be worth doing. Take names and quantities desired.

I have sent him and email Kevin, asking what it would take for him to run a batch.  Then we have to decide if we can get enough to do that size order.  It has to be up to him on what the amount would be to make it worth his while.  And if this happens, it will be money up front, or no order. If Larry agrees, the money will be sent to him, not a third party.  That way he gets the money before making the heads.

KennyB Go check out Abowyers website in the sponsor list.

I seen where some one said they would like these in a double bevel. Since Abowyer is the single bevel expert I really don't see that happening.

If you ever try a single bevel you will be hooked

I asked them to double bevel some for me...and they could have....but that would narrow the head quite a bit...and the thickness is the main reason I liked the head, that and the thickeness/tuffness....NOT for the single bevel.....I've tried them but certainly not 'hooked'.

Nah...I'm hooked, and have been hooked for decades...on 4 Blades 1st, 3 Blades 2nd, and WIDE Big Chop 2 blades 3rd....I could care less about the number of bevels.

I do like the angle and depth of bevel on the Abowyers....VERY substantial for holding a durable edge!!!

Hey Everyone,
Due to the interest in whitetail heads we have decided to make another batch for those who are interested. We will be taking orders until November 11th to see what quantities we need to produce. You all can either call or send us an email to place your order. We can send you paypal requests but will not be opening up the paypal option like our standard heads. As usual we will be excepting visa and checks. Be sure to let anyone who is interested know because this could be the last chance for the whitetails.
