Spring turkey hunt in Montana

Maine Moose hunt 2011

Same hunt
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I'll have some to show next week, going bear, duck and quail hunting with my brother in N. CA. all with a bow.
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

My view from the stand this evening. Man the woods is beautiful this time of year. 73 degrees when I climbed up with a 5 mph steady breeze in my face. Doesn't get much nicer.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

That's the opposite side of the drive Mike. Everybody knows you don't have to paint that side.
