To be honest with you guys I wasn't sure if I was going to take that second doe due to the fact I was standing in 3 inches of water. Her standing in the row was a 12 yard picture. I was taking the pictures for a fellow trad guy who is laid up with a broken arm wishing he was out so I had to take him on the hunt thru pics. But once I reached the 6 yard line I felt good enough with the shot angle to drop the string.

Nice!!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Awesome!  Way to channel your inner "Ishi" and take a pair on the stalk.  Very cool pick in the corn field.  Real bold that you had the cool head to think of snapping a shot before taking a shot.  I would have been so focused on the deer a camera would be the last thing on my mind.

I bet I have snuck and looked down 1000 rows of corn and never seen one like that.  I know it works, but so far not for me.  I think you have re-inspired me to give it a go in the corn field across the street from my house.

Thank you guys for all the complements on the bow and all the congrats! This year has been great so far and I've got 2 tags left to fill. Figured id show you guys a better pic of the bow as well. Its a bocote riser with dark walnut stained curly maple veneers with maple cores. (And yes if you look closely that is a fence in the back ground and no its not to keep deer in! Haha its the property line between my the property I hunt and the city waste water treatment plant)
