I personally know 3 people that have been drawn. Have put in myself since they started it. All 3 took big bulls. Success rate is high, once you do manage to get drawn, but the odds are against you there. I'll keep on donating !

I put in for the draw but didnt get drawn. Two of my friends got tags and both have ended up taking bulls with a bow.One was using a Robertston Fatal Styk. One was a 5x6 and the other was a 6x6.I think the 6x6 green scored 363 or something close to that so it was a pretty nice bull.

NASP had a sweepstakes for one KY Commission Elk Tag. The hunter bow-killed a 7x8 bull that green-scores 338. We provided lodging, the place to hunt, and the guide. We raised $25,000 for NASP with this tag. We will be conducting another sweepstakes this winter for a 2012 KY Commission Elk tag.

You can begin applying December 1, 2011 for the 2012 elk season.  I messed up this year. I applied only once when there were actuallyl two opportunities to apply!
