Tasmanian PAX
« on: October 24, 2011, 12:20:00 PM »
Got my new PAX. This is my 3rd widow and and far from my last. I also have a Tulipwood PAX and a PGA. The 1 piece curve is the only one that agrees with me. The pics are from my phone and really dont show the depth of the limbs. Amazing work. The verse is one that I hold close to my heart from my time in the Military, and the owl... well I just like owls.

Specs: 62" 40# @ 28"
Asbell grip
Limb core: Yew
Veneers: Tasmanian Tiger Rose Myrtle
Riser: Kingwood
Overlay wood: Yew

You got a cracker there Casey!  :-)
Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

Thanks guys. I wish I could tell you how she shoots. Would you believe me if I told you that I only shot three arrows from it? I’ve been so involved with work and trying to hunt an hour in the morning before I head off to work that I spend all my daylight hours occupied. Hopefully soon. She sure is a beauty. Pics don’t do it justice.

Izzy,

Yes light in poundage, not in mass. I had this one done in #40 so it can be my off season indoor 3D bows. The PGA I have is #45 and you know my Tulipwood is #53.

Just a super bow. The PA design, in my opnion was never close to being challenged until the PCH.

The PA from an asthetic stand point may still hold the edge. I have never had the pleasure of shooting a PA. Probably wouldn't be in my wallets best interst.

Congrats!!
