You know hogs are a real problem, and I am thrilled I finally got him, but part of me cannot help but feel a loss. He was famous around here and had evaded all the traps and gun hunters out to get him. He also battled to his last breath. I have to respect that. As I get ready to hunt this afternoon, that swamp seems somewhat diminished without him in it.
Having done so much, with so little, for so long, I can now do anything with nothing.

Congrats on the killer hog.Here in Tx we call those old biguns with nuts the size of a pie plate.They will raise your stress level for sure if your on the ground with them.My largest is 425# and I know all about the dance.Usually good for a laugh when its over....Usually!!Closest thing to a Rino as you can get around here.

Good huntin, and shooting !

All I can say is WOW   :scared: , we are supposed to have them in the Southern part of the state, don't know if they are that big, but it must have the Gov't nervous because we have orders to shoot on sight, haven't seen any yet in central N.J.
