Robertson Montana Falcon ex Mr Kirby...

Hello,
Last month I bought one old Robertson Montana Falcon from a TX guy (who don't know the info I'm looking for) and want know if my "new" bow can take Fast Flight strings....
I wrote in the past 2 weeks two mail at the Robertson's email, but still waiting the replay.... These are the specs of my Robertson:
On the riser there are signed : Custom for David L. Kirby;
On the upper limb there are signed : Robertson Stickbow and in the part who are stealth when it is mount on the riser : Kirby 62" 51#-28 1/2;
On the down limb there are signed : Montana Falcon 62" 47# -28 1/2 and in the part who are stealth when it is mount on the riser : Kirby 62" 51# -28/ 1/2
The riser look like Cocobolo wood and the limbs look like Red Elm.
Anyone could help me to know the right year it was crafted and if it can take FF strings ?? Thanks Carlo

Give Mr. Robertson a call. I believe they keep records on every bow sold. If anyone would know, it would be he.

I'm in Italy, one phone call to USA will cost many Euros, and, last but not least, I'm not confident with my english speacking.
Thanks for your replay
Carlo
PS.... A friend of mine told me that all Robertson bows crafted after 1994 can take FF... but I don't know the right year of mine ....

Carlo,the Montana Falcon had a Dacron string.
Dick started to use the FF with the Vision line.
i sold one to Giovanni Pirovano some years ago and he wanted to use anyway the FF string:limb broken!

Felix,
have your bow Horn tips like mine???
Thanks
Sorry to all if I write in Italian to Felix....
Felix,

Carlo,the one that broke had wood tips,mine has moose horn tips,but I use just the dacron on it,anyway it is fast,forgiving and way quiet.
If you really want to use a ff string,try a skinny padded loops string.
