Asbell wool custom vest

I noticed on this forum a while back that Theresa Asbell will sew some special projects so I contacted her and had a vest made. It is the Evening Stand pattern in 28oz wool with a hood but it is made of two layers, double thickness. The hood is a single layer. It is very warm and doesnt add bulk to my arms which i prefer.  Seems the older I get, the colder I get and this was a welcome addition to my gear.

Mine was supposed to ship today. I had her make it a little longer and add a beavertail to the back.

Great service. Mrs. Asbell is very pleasant to talk with on the phone.
