Sling seat ladder stands
« on: November 03, 2011, 03:48:00 PM »
Does anyone know who still makes/sells a ladder stand with a sling seat on it. My friend has one and it is the nicest stand to sit in as far as comfort and there are no side handles or junk in the way. His stand does not have a name on it and he can't remember where or when he got it. I would love to find another ladder stand with a sling seat. Anyone have a ladder stand that they have purchased lately with a sling seat?

Dick's Sporting Goods has a stand with a sling seat that they sell in their stores around here. They may sell them in the stores around you also.  http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11843288&cp=4406646.4413993.4414427.4414432

Some of the ladder stands with the padded seat can be modified with the seat replaced with a sling seat without much trouble at all. Just another option... To find a replacement sling seat, go to  http://www.slumperseats.com/.  I will vouch for their quality and service. Made in the US also.

I have one of the dicks sporting good ones. The seat is nice however, it is just a little too low to the footrest for me to be real comfortable in.
