Toelke Traditional Archery

I have been remiss on getting this bow posted up for public consumption. Contemplated the strip tease act which starts with pics of the tube it arrived in but opted for some random shots just to support our local bowyers. The bow is a 64” Lynx with longbow limbs 55@28. Riser is cocobolo and Ebony with one thin accent stripe of micarta (hardly noticeable) between the two woods. The limb veneers are tiger myrtle that Idaho Curt ripped for me personally as he had sold out in the Sponsor’s Classifieds. I think Dan did a really nice job pulling together a very well appointed bow that screams to the natural wood guys like myself. Thanks to both bowyers for holding their end of the bargain. If you like what you see give either of these guys a call.
This bow is a big departure from the Whip that I’m used to. It has the mass of a recurve in my opinion and coupled with that signature grip it is extremely stable and accurate. In this poundage the cast is phenomenal and just seems even more forgiving to user error. It has become my go to instrument and will be going to Kodiak Island in just two days. Thanks for looking.

Now that's nice. All that first pic needs is a glass with 3 fingers of scotch and it would be a lil' slice of Heaven.
Good luck on your hunt!

Thats funny! All I can say is that a woman got invovled! I thought is was getting a little busy myself. TG members put in the effort to post quality images along with great stories. It was fun to make an attempt realizing the bar is quite high on this site.
Cheers!

Also wanted to say that it is nice to see one at full draw. Those short working limbs ought to really zip an arrow and be quiet.

Love my Lynx, yours is the prettiest one that I have seen yet. Good luck on Kodiak, hopefully that new bow will get some blood on it.

Beautiful bow Chromebuck.
Good luck on Kodiak.
I love my Lynx as well. I've got 2 sets of recurve limbs for it.
Love the way they shoot.
Which limbs do you have Tater?

Keith,
Very nice looking bow you have there, I really like the tiger myrtle. I can't wait to see it tomorrow when we finally meet on Kodiak Island

Elkchaser,
I have a set of 64" Longbow limbs, and a set of 58" Recurve limbs.
I have been shooting the Recurve limbs since the end of September, getting ready for Kansas next week.
