Shootn in your sleep
« on: November 06, 2011, 05:24:00 PM »
I was just out back practicing with my bow when my great aunt who is 75 and lives next door comes out. She comes down her back steps laughing and says you should be able to shoot that thing in your sleep as much as you do it. I just laughed and said its a sickness, its like i have to shoot. She says, well thats better than setting in a bar room! I thought it was humererous and thought id share.

Yep, I know from which this addictive behavior stems. I actually have dreams of shooting/hunting all the time. Last night it was coyotes!   :biglaugh:

I know the feeling. I think it has something to do with targets in the garage, basement, back yard and when the wife is gone down the hallway.

So, how many times a day do you launch "mental arrows" at various things?

Years ago we were at the Syracuse Zoo and there is a platform overlooking the caribou enclosure.  I was watching intently and my wife said: "You're hunting them, aren't you?"

"Thwack."  I replied.
