What color fletching do you use on your arrows when hunting turkeys.I know they can see color.White red and blue really isn,t safe, when people are out there with shotguns.

I use whatever I am hunting deer with; currently they are red hen feathers and a white cock feather, however, they are concealed in a SafariTuff quiver. I am going to get a feather cutter, though, and cut some natural barred feathers off some turkey wings, and they will probably end up on spring turkey arrows.

I made some Surewoods(plain jane style) with goose feathers, and I like them better than any other feather arrow combo I have.

I fletch all my arrows with either natural barred or black. Makes no difference what I'm hunting. Have always made plain arrows with all feathers the same color. Never saw a need to have a different color cock feather.
And the turkey don't seem to notice them.... never had one complain anyway.

for me, the only not-so-good thing about natural barred or natural canada goose feathers is they're tough to see/find when the hit/miss a mark. but they're so darned cool and just aesthetically CLASSIC for all hunting woodies!
i was using solid yellow fletches on carbons, but lately i've switched over to hot pink - they're incredibly visible no matter where they land, even without a bright cap wrap!
