Way to go.  Like starting your driving in a Caddilac.  Alums are a bit easier to tune, but carbons last longer.     Arrow tuning   Here is a link to a great piece on turning your arrows.  Rob's link at the top of the page for beginers is great also. I came over from shooting a wheelie instinctive so I think your transition should be pretty smooth.  Great people here with lots of helpful advice and a vast store of knowledge.  Enjoy the switch.

I am definatley pulling 50#, I have a easton digitial bow scale  that I checked the weight with and I am pulling 50.4#s. I am loving traditional so much I think I am going to try to trade my 2011 prime shift for a recurve.
