couple of pigs
« on: November 07, 2011, 10:47:00 PM »

Shot this guy in Pawhuska, OK a few days ago.  Dryad Orion 62" 47# @ 30.5" with a 3-blade VPA terminator and a 700gr arrow.  He only went 80 yards.  Very happy with the performance of this set-up.  Special thanks to Mike and Rod for making good products and for hosting the shooting clinic in Fort Worth last spring.  It helped!

Shot this one in Breckenridge, TX with the same set-up.  Got a pass through on the first shot, but only got one lung.

How have you been Justin? Did you ever figure out the back tension thing. I know I got just what I was looking for out of Rod's clinic and am shooting as well as I can remember.

Congrats on the hogs!

See ya later,

Bisch

The first hog, with that coloring, looks like a cross between a anteater and a African bush pig!  :clapper:

Very nice Hogs!!  And the bow doesn't suck either.  LOL

That is the first of the new generation Orion bolt down risers and limbs.  Maybe you could take a few pics of the bow to show.

Nice pigs, congrats!

Thanks guys!  I did get that back tension figured out Bish...it took a long time and a lot of work with the old string, but finally it clicked.

I'll post some pics of the bow when I get home from work today.  thanks again everybody.
