screw in broadhead adapters

i recently switched from wood to carbons,and i have a bunch of glue on broadheads.do these adapters work? i just dont like the idea of glueing metal to metal.any advise is welcome

use a good hot melt glue and they work great ferrel tite from three rivers works the best from  nevermind if the spelling is wrong  have not had a problem with it yet

They work great. Many manufacturers use them!
I prefer to use epoxy over hot melts.

It works fine.  I use the amber hot melt so I can change weights if I want to, or replace a insert that might become damaged.

I've been using them for years, never a problem.  Nice thing now is you can also get steel ones at different weights for tuning if need be.

Adapters work great.  I recommend determining your desired point weight, buying the adapter that, coupled with your broadheads, will duplicate that weight.  Then dedicate a 1/2 dozen carbons for broadheads (or at least mark them so you can match the BH with the arrow).  Clean the adapter and BH, and mix up some 2 hour epoxy.  Take your time gluing and spinning, turning, spinning, etc, etc until everything spins great, then let the epoxy set.  You'll have a matched set of BH's that wont pull off in targets.  Practice then sharpen those puppies and put some meat in the freezer!
