This is how it should be done
« on: November 08, 2011, 10:20:00 PM »
Larry Myers sent me this picture of a beautiful Kansas buck he took with his Shrew Classic Hunter. I think he did a wonderful job posing his buck. He took the picture before the deer was dressed out and also is holding his bow in a way for good display.

I see too many nice bucks in the back of a pickup with their tongue hanging out, or hanging in a garage above a pool of blood. This buck was posed tastefully with the respect due such a fine animal.   Congratulations Larry...

Yep, it's a great photo, nice bow, and the quiver looks like it was made for that bow. Good idea Ron to show a great photo like this. It's such a shame to see a bad photo of a nice animal that could have been a great photo.

I remember we always put the quiver, gloves or something over the wound, even.  Now it seems the idea is to show a gaping hole.

Pass word back to Larry: Congratulations and nice work all around!

Ron, I agree! That's a very nice picture. Congratulations Larry! A job well done.

I checked one of my game cameras yesterday and found a pic of the buck I would like have in a picture with my Classic Hunter also!

Yup, that's a dandy picture and buck for sure. He's even got a nice example of mounting the quiver on the Super Shrew bow in the pose.

Congratulations to Larry.
