I recently got my first one, other than a Tactical Hawk. It's full tang Damascas and 12" long. It really takes a nice edge and the balance is great. I'm lovin' it. My next one will be a Shrew Hawk.

My Robin Hudson hawk, with a piece of HC steel inserted in the edge. I'm really liking that Shrew Trapper, though.

Good hunting, Jason

Wow. Two pages of responses and this post hasn't been shut down yet. Impressive.

These are my favorites...

The one on the right is Damascus.  I've got it lookin' a lot better now.  Guess I need to take another pic.

David Yukon

Joe, I realy like the middle one, can you tell me where it's from?

chinook907

Not as pretty as the others here, but my 26" Estwing gets it done and is pretty much bulletproof.

"Have I not commanded you ? Be strong and courageous.  Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

WESTBROOK

My Hawk? I dont think so...It was made by a friend of mine in Alaska, does it for a living..go figure. I'm always in awe of his talent.

The details on that are ridiculously intricate! Hard to believe people still craft stuff to that degree...

W-A-A-A-Y too much Viking blood in me to look at this thread and not go a bit beserker.

This, and the Howard Hill thread, and Bowie threads are too much for me to handle. Done ruined me for good!

P.S. Ever wonder why Ron LaClair is somehow in all these over-the-top bad-influence threads?

He is a bad influence boys, a bad, bad influence. Turn away while you can--------oops, too late, you are already hooked-----whether you know it or not.

It's just the way these things get passed along through the ages.

A tomahawk, a simple bow, and a well-made Bowie. A man can not own better.

Some awfully nice "Hawks" here... Can this be all?

Thanks Larry, but like I said, its not mine. I dont make that kind of money (Mucho Denero!). The gold is GOLD and the silver is SILVER. Just made by a friend of mine, he's been makin a livin building muzzleloader, knives and hawks for about 30 yrs. An absolute master of his work and one of the most humble guys I've ever met.

Al,

I'm heading down to the coast tomorrow morning for a week or so of chasing Elk and Blacktail deer... I'm pretty sure I know where Clay and his wife Trisha are hunting and camping... I'll try and look him [ about dinner time    :wavey:
