Looks like they mis spelled your name on that limb inscription. Happens to the best of em. Good luck in Texas. I'll be there in January.

Amistead is a great place. You'll need a boat to get across the lake. Was considering this hunt myself. PM for more.

Come on over!!!!!! Texas is a great place as you already know since you have been here before. I would love to meet up with you while you are here if you are ever in the Austin area.

Good luck on your hunt and can't wait for all the pics.

I have hunted there many times. Its a beautiful place. Lots of deer but very savvy deer.

I live about 2 1/2 hours from there.

Good luck

Well I had a great time meeting up with you Daniel! Maybe next year we can work it out where we can do some hunting together.

Here is a pic of (L)fishnhunt,(M)myself, and (R) yononindo at the mexican restaurant in George West, Tx.

Have a safe trip back home and hope to see you again in the future!

I've hunted Amistad before and it is a great experience.  You can walk/still hunt all day and never see another hunter.  Saw a nice buck while hunting but too far for a shot.  We mostly saw white flags as the deer busted us a lot.

Best of luck to ya.
