Most forward grip R/D bow around 62"?

Hey all.

I'm thinking of trying a new bow.
I'd like to find a r/d bow that has quite a far forward grip that's around 62-64".

I'm thinking about a shrew pretty hard.
Haven't ever shot one, but they sure seem to have everything I'm looking for.

Also, thinking a reverse handled 3 pc might be a way to go.

Anyone have some good ideas?

If you are going to get it custom made, most bowyers should be able to deliver on the type of grip that you would like.

Blackwidow has something in the works that
s hush hush right now. Will be release next month. Could be what your looking for. 3pc, reverse handled, forward grip...Who knows. Might be worth waiting for the release.

I'd be right at the Max draw of the 60" though.

X2 with going with an EagleWing by Sixby. His bows are great performing bows that are jaw dropping to look at. The Static tips he has in the Talon 11 make for the smoothest draw you'll get.

My 62" Griffin has a pretty forward grip,my buddy had a 64" Griffin.

How about JD Berry, the Apollo model. I have a 62" and its absolutely stunning, reasonable build time, smooth, fast and a joy to shoot.

The 62 inch forward handle longbow is a rarer length.Griffin used to make one.Not sure if he still does.The 64 incher is nice at a longer draw.The wait time is painful though.might see about a used one with a wanted add.

Shrew just started offering the 62" Super Shrew I believe fairly recently.I bet that would be nice!

The Berry Appollo is an option.He also offers that bow in a Taipan model that is the same design but cheaper.Its a pretty bow.

A 3 piece Td like a Habu or some of the other similar models available by other bowyers with belly mounted limbs would give you as very forward set grip as well

I just built Andy Cooper a 62 inch bow with the new limbs I developed for the forward riser three piece. I did mount his on a standard riser. Its a medium D and R but really performs. He could tell you about it.
I am shipping another one to Alaska but they don'thave it yet so no imput.
This limb works great either on a standard riser or a belly mount and is a perfect limb for foam core and carbon.

Howard Hill Badger is another super smooth and the quietest bow I own.

The Kanati's are a great bow at a great price and Jason is easy to work with.

I haven't tried a Eaglewing or a Hoots yet but I have been watching both very closely. I'm hoping Sixby decides to make a Hunter version of his bow. I'll probably own one if He does.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Lost Creek bows. They are hands down the best I have personally shot. Chad is a fine sponsor here. Give him a call before you buy anything. Whatever you decide good luck with your new bow.

If you can wait a couple months and get to Kalamazoo, you can shoot most of the above and get a hands on experience.
