My new Big Jim Buffalo Bow
« on: November 12, 2011, 05:42:00 PM »
Well my long wait is finally over and my new Buffalo Bow arrived and I couldnt be happier. Big Jim done an awesome job I think, when I took the bow out of the box it was exactly as I had pictured it. Shoots great too, almost too pretty to take to the woods......almost.
Snakewood riser with Gaboon Ebony accent stripe with sheep horn overlays

With the snakewood I thought it would be nice to put some snakeskin on the riser so I had Big Jim put Copperhead skin overlays on the back.

I told Jim I wanted dark Cocobolo and spliced with Snakewood, this is some of the prettiest Cocobolo I have ever seen, also has SpringBuck Horn limb tips.

Wow what a work of art. Like the 1st class touches with it all, leather handle, tips, snake skins etc.
Are you gonna take it in the woods?

Oh Boy! The big guy pulled the cream of the crop out of his 'Magic Wood Shed' on that beauty.

Awesome bow right there. Congrats to you, and Hats-Off to Big Jim on another masterpiece!    :notworthy:
