An Aplogy to TradGangers
« on: November 14, 2011, 03:43:00 PM »
Recently there was a thread on Stability started by a bowyer that I very highly respect. I fear that my contributions to this thread may have caused the thread to get removed. It was a really good thread with some really good information. So I apologize for that. My Bsddddddddddddd and I mean it.

One other thing that I did was mention the names of several other bowyers. To each of them I apologize for using their names. I meant it in a good context and I greatly respect each of them. I certainly do not want any association I may have brought them to anything I have posted or said to effect their relationships with any of you or their businesses in any way. I implore you all to not take any dislike for anything I have said out on any of these bowyers who in no way deserve it. I will refrain in the future from mentioning any of them unless the thread speaks to them and then only in a specific and good manner.

Again, My sincere apologies to you all and God bless you all, Steve

I agree with Bjorn.

You took a lot of goading Steve- in this and the other thread you mention, before getting frustrated.

Maybe gentlemen, Buttttttt I am old enough to know better and certainly should not have involved anyone else. When I wrote the statement , what does this have to do with the thread that Mr Morrison posted,. I should have just erased my answer. I dOn't have an excuse.

God bless you all, Steve

An apology is all that you can do and you have done that. Let time take care of the rest.

A wise man knows when to apologize and does so.  Other wise men accept it and everyone moves on.

It's the stupid inter-web's fault!     :)
Seriously, it happens to the best of us. I'm reminded that Jesus said "there is none good but one, that is, God." And He (Jesus) was perfect & was God!
That doesn't condone when we make mistakes (not saying you did, I was following the thread) but it sure makes it understandable when we don't measure up to the standard we are striving for.
I can appreciate you set your goals high and that is commenable. In this case there were too many things involved for you to bare sole responsibility.

So like I said ... stupid inter-web!

I'm sure it's genuine from your heart. If I made bows, I'd want your association. Good stuff Steve.

From what I did understand about what you and the others was talking about, I thought you did quite well.

You make some beautiful looking bows and seem to know what you are talking about and conduct your self like a gentleman. Keep doing what you do best, build bows and discus them.

I read this thread with interest. But also, thought of the "Popular Mechanics" thread that was posted a time ago!

As bowyers, your creativity and excitement, is just! Truely understand!  :goldtooth:

Had this ? been started on the Bowyers section, folks might be still typing, STABILITY.

Just my thoughts. Keep creating, please
