New D-Style Bow
« on: November 15, 2011, 04:50:00 PM »
I thought you Hill types might like this. It is my new Pronghorn Nighthawk by Herb Mealand. I have shot it a little and it seems very smooth and very forgiving and like all my Pronghorns the speed is very respectable.

Tradganger Jack Skinner took it out a few times to see if he wanted one. He took a few pics for me since I have been super busy moving.

Nice Randy, what are the specs?

I have the 66" model, 56# @ 28", osage riser, black glass limbs. I really like mine.

maybe we should make it easier on what to call these hybrids -  an RDD, as oppposed to an ELB or AFL or LMNOP.    :D

Randy hope you dont mind but here are a few more that I took while I had it. Great shooting bow I have been thinking of new D-bow and this is a great choice. The bow next to the pronghorn was made buy a local bowyer who no longer makes bows and is three lbs heavier in draw weight at my draw length and not as fast as the pronghorn.

A few shots from closer in as some requested.
