Really cool! How much does it weigh and how did you make it? I take it a cow bone is harder and stronger than one from a deer?

Had another doe by me this evening...ten feet away... pinned me when I drew!!! Ahhhh . I love hunting off ground!!! Well back to the quiver for "Boney" ! Another day...another try !

Osy ..yes its sharp full lenth. Its filled and then even diamond like a steel blade! amazing sharp.

If you just have to "experiment" with this stuff, perhaps some serrations would be a good idea.

Gotta think steel replaced bone and stone for a reason. As far as I'm concerned if it won't get hair cutting razor sharp then it doesn't belong in the woods.

I believe that bone point is sharp. I was working on some elk antlers a couple years back, and sliced my hand wide open on a sharp edge I had just cut.
