I think it's awesome, Stoney!  One of my personal goals is to take a deer with a self bow and stone point arrow.

(With an abundance of due respect... there are also those archers who believe that a bow that shoots below 300 fps doesn't belong in the woods as well as rifle shooters who believe that a projectile flying less than 2000 fps doesn't belong in the woods.)

Good luck on the hunt!  Very nice looking head and arrow.  Is the head triangular or does it have a shank on it?

Unfortunately, I don't know of a single Canadian province that allows anything other than steel heads.  10,000 years of success wasn't enough to convince them that stone and bone worked.....

I saw one thread where you went thru a "how to" and the end result looked scary sharp.

You should find your story and actually post a link to it... finding archived can be a bit daunting on occassion.
