I traded for one, a one-piece hybrid. They are fast and pretty quiet. Problem was, when I left the bow strung the limb tips started to twist. Went kind of back to normal when I left it unstrung for a few days, but it kind of ruined my interest in the bow. Talked to the bowyer, and he said it was the material he used, or a design flaw he had since changed, or some such thing. Nothing he could do. I could send him the bow, but make sure to prepay postage, and he would take a look if he got a chance. Just left a bad taste in mouth. I know he didn't have to do anything because I wasn't the original owner, but he was just kind of dismissive. And he admitted the bow wasn't right in the first place.
But they are fast and quiet, and if you get one of the newer ones, everything should be fine.
