As long as its a longbow you have my blessing. What price range are you looken for You should check the classifieds on the main page and get an inexpensive bow at first and then get the pricy bow later. Just my opinion

I've got a HC K2.....absolutely great bow.  Roman's craftsmanship and design are top notch.  The bow is fast, stable, quiet, and the length of mine at 56" is great for tight quarters. I haven't owned any of the others so read on....and Welcome!

What's wrong with the silvertip? And you are looking for a longbow or a recurve? take down or one piece? Why these 4, I meen they are realy different bows! And they are so many other bows out there that are just as great... Do you have a chance at trying different bows? It would make a big difference! Where I live, I don't have the luxury of trying bows, so I buy what seem like a good idea at the time... So far I've been lucky...
But my favorit bow is my caribow Silverfox 62".
Just saying...

Man you need to shoot a loaner or something til you can get to ETAR...Denton Hill.   Its a little piece of heaven....others will agree.   Your head will spin with all the bows you'll be able to actually shoot!  100% totally worth it!

In my opinion, all of the bows you have listed are fine bows. It depends on what you are looking for in a bow.

The Stalkers have a good reputation but I have had no personal experience with them. Is it a newer model? If so do a search here and you'll find plenty of feedback.

Fedoras are great bows.....plenty quick and easily quieted down. Grip on mine was a bit large for my tastes, but that is a personal thing.

Hill Country bows are very sweet shooters.  One of the best kept secrets so to speak. If the right lefty would come up for sale, I'd own one.

Any Dwyer bow is a keeper. More of a "traditional bow" I guess you'd say. It has a nice grip.

All the bows on your list are made by fine gentlemen and craftsmen. You really can't go wrong with any of them. You didn't mention the bow length, weight@ your draw length on any of the bows or what the length and draw weight is on your current bow. If your current bow feels good(draw weight and bow length) you may want to go with the bow that is close to what you have. You should be able to use the same arrows, or at least mess with the point weight to get them where you need them. With the Stalker or the Hill Country you have the option of purchasing additional limbs (longer, shorter, lighter, heavier).
Do a search here on all of the bows you're looking at. You'll find some info on all them , I'm sure. Then google the bows and hit their websites for some close ups of the grips.
In the end it is all up to you and what you like. Just don't overbow yourself and be sure to have fun.

You could go to Kalamazoo to the Trad Expo at the end of January and try out a bunch then. I'm going....  :)

My silvertip is 50# at 29", all of the bows listed are very close to the same weight give or take a few #'s.

If you are happy with a trade, then my thought would be to get the bow that fits the best as far as draw weight and bow length.  If they all met that test, then would probably get something opposite the spectrum from the Silvertip.  Being new to the trad world you might want to touch all the bases.

What,s your draw length? You may not like a short bow If you have a long draw length, It can cause finger and nock pinch. What are the lengths of the bows you are thinking about?

All realy good suggestions here. I would get full bow specs, lenght, #@28, take down, recurves, longbow and post the specs here and I'm sure you will get more suggestions.
Good luck but it look like that any of them will be a great bow!
