I'm in NW Indiana and this is supposedly the peak of the rut but I'm not seeing much activity at all.

Yes sir! Have seen a few chasing, a few scrapes, and a ton of rubs.

Starting to see rubs and scrapes, But it's the smaller ones that are in rut not the big boys.

It's been wild for the past couple weeks but I'm seeing less activity this week so it's about done here. The gun season starts tomorrow and that'll drive 'em to the swamps...):

Finally seeing some bucks chasing this week. Killed a big doe Thursday afternoon with a fork buck hot on her trail.

I'm in west/central IN and I have only seen one buck chasing a doe. Not near the activity I normally see. Folks on the neighboring property told me they had 3 buck chasing does in their pasture last evening and I did rattle in 3 small bucks this morning. I am hoping for some movement this afternoon and on thru  Thanksgiving weekend. Mike

Almost none.  We hardly ever see any here cause we have a 10,000:1 doe to buck ratio and 79 different gun seasons starting in early October, so by the time the rut rolls around they only move between midnight and 3 AM.  We'll see deer move again about mid January.

writing from Wyoming.  This past week has been busy and the last 2 days lots of deer movement.  We had a pretty good storm that slowed things a bit but the sun is out and so are the rutting deer.

Where I'm at in Indiana I saw plenty of rut activity on Nov 11th AM - a couple of bucks hard at it chasing does - then it shut completely down on the 12th when the guns started going off.

Any rutting activity around here after the 2nd Saturday in November happens at night - or else they get blasted.

The does still get bred...and the fawns are still born in May...but heaven knows how it gets done.

I've seen a few bucks chasing does down here in Ga over the past couple weeks. Great time to be out there right now.

Just got back from southern kansas and didn't see much at all. A nice 8 point with his head to the ground and that was about it. Does still had fawns with them and didn't see any chasing. It was warm all weak and with the full moon out is did not help. That area wasstill in a drought and they thought that might be weakenning the rut with mother nature doing its job. Who knows but sure was frustrating to say the least.

Here in south east Pa. It seems to have slowed down. Getting photos of nocturnal bucks, no day light photos of bucks.  A week and a half ago I had only 2 days of day light photos of big bucks. That was it so far this year. The rut just doesn't seem the same this year as other years.
