It is supposed to be really windy and rainy where we are but that won't stop me / us from being out there. My son, 13, has his first opportunity to bow hunt tomorrow and I wouldn't want to miss that for anything. He has practiced a ton and is really ready. I think I am more excited than he is....  :)

Good luck with the ADK bear rug quest Chuck!

To everyone else, good luck to you and if you are up in a tree and have a tendency to suffer from motion sickness, be sure to puke off to the non-bow side of your stand.....those trees should be doing some swaying this weekend!    :archer:

Be safe and have fun everyone. I'm gonna have to miss it. Taking my family to Boston for an important Church event and then Open House on Sunday at my house from 1-6 PM. If you're in the area, drop in.  Open house is for the return of my oldest son from a 2 year church mission to Northern France and for a going away for my younger son who will be leaving Tuesday for 2 years in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Sorry to hear that Drew. I'll be working tomorrow as well, but I'm hitting my back yard woods for the 1hour of daylight I'll have before getting in to work. Gotta fit it in when I can.

Good hunting everyone!

God provided a beautiful moon for the walk in this morning along with everything else.  I shot this nice adult doe using my 66" Howard Hill longbow and a wood arrow. I took her at 9 yards, I was blessed today.
